Training is delivered digitally through a combination of interactive sessions, workshops, simulations and meetings, with some face-to-face courses also offered. The Add Energy Academy also offers bespoke training courses, including skills gap assessments to identify risks and determine where to invest in learning and development.

Leaders hope the courses will support the energy transition, helping those looking to transfer skills in, for example, geothermal energy and carbon capture, use and storage.

Mr. Løkke-Sørensen also said: “With our roots in oil and gas, we can clearly see how these skills are transferable to the renewable energy sector.

“To meet the strong demand for new energies, we urgently need a large skilled workforce. We hope that our training modules can support the transfer of these skills to new markets.
