On June 11, 2022, at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers responded to an ongoing robbery at Starbucks, 584 Old Mill Road in Millersville. The suspect entered the store, pointed a black handgun at the employees and said, “Give me all the money from the till. The suspect was given an unknown amount of US currency and fled on foot to Cloverleaf Business Park. Based on the information obtained at the scene, a description of the suspect vehicle was obtained. With the assistance of Air Force, K-9 officers and patrol units, the suspect vehicle was located in the area of Phirne Road East and Nolberry Drive in Glen Burnie. The suspect has been taken into custody and charged in connection with this incident as well as the following four recent robberies:

Flight (Citizen) – Pasadena

On June 10, 2022, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a citizen’s robbery that just occurred in the 8300 block of Catherine Avenue in Pasadena. The victim was approached by two young men. One of the men produced a handgun and took the victim’s waist bag. The two suspects fled east on Catherine Avenue toward Fremont Avenue. Suspect 1: Caucasian male, approximately 15-17 years old, 5’09”, 115 lbs, black mask, black shirt, blue jeans, armed with a black 9mm handgun.
Suspect 2: Black male, approximately 15-17 years old, 5’09”, 115 lbs, black mask, black jacket, black pants.

Flight (Citizen) – Pasadena

On June 11, 2022, at approximately 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a citizen theft that just occurred in the 8400 block of Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena. A group of about 12 minors approached the minor victim and started harassing him. One of the 12 miners hit the victim from behind and took his bike, cell phone and shoes. Arms Violation/CDS Violation – Severn

On June 11, 2022 at approximately 3:15 a.m. an officer carried out a traffic stop in the Severn Orchard Circle and Pioneer Drive area of Severn. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The officer was able to apprehend the driver and located a loaded stolen Smith and Wesson pistol and 71 small bags containing suspected crack cocaine inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

Robbery (Commercial) – Gambrills

On June 13, 2022 at approximately 5:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of theft that just occurred at Royal Farms located at 1114 Crain Highway North in Gambrills. The suspect entered the store, went behind the counter and began taking tobacco products. When confronted, the suspect grabbed his belt and threatened the employee. At no time did the suspect show a firearm. The suspect exited the back door of the business and got into a burgundy Ford Fusion and drove away.
