Major Culina Group Acquisition Creates £ 2.2bn FMCG Logistics Business

Culina Group, the Market leader in shared-user FMCG logistics services, has announced an agreement to take over GreenWhiteStar Acquisitions as of Thursday, July 1, 2021. Terms of the agreement, including consideration, were not disclosed.

GreenWhiteStar Acquisitions includes Eddie Stobart, Eddie Stobart Europe, iForce, The Pallet Network and The Logistics People.

With global sales of over £ 2.2 billion, a combined workforce of approximately 22,000 employees, nearly 20 million square feet of warehouse space and a joint fleet of over 5,500 vehicles, Culina Group has considerably strengthened its position as market leader in the FMCG logistics sector. with this acquisition.

GreenWhiteStar’s acquisitions will benefit from private ownership with protection of their brands for years to come. The move will also help to keep jobs, invest and bring entrepreneurship.

The acquisition expands Culina Group’s existing network to over 100 strategically located UK distribution centers following the addition of more than 40 facilities operated by GreenWhiteStar Acquisitions.
