Morristown Hyatt Unveils Major Renovations

Hyatt Regency Morristown recently completed a major hotel renovation.

The hotel, located at 3 Speedwell Ave. in downtown Morristown, began a “multi-million dollar renovation” on Jan. 13, according to a news release.

The Hyatt Regency Morristown lobby has been redesigned with features such as fireplaces, tree lights, modern furnishings, new carpeting, lighting, and artwork.

The hotel has an updated lounge-dining room, hotel bar, new food market and cafe. Its renovated rooms also include 50 studio suites.

“The renovation was carefully designed by Gensler, our neighbors here in downtown Morristown, to incorporate the unique and rich history of our area,” said Jeff Babcock, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Morristown. “The newly renovated property has a modern colonial theme, which can be seen in every aspect of the property.”

The hotel’s former restaurant has also been transformed into a conference space.

“To create an accessible, hospitality-focused destination for Morristown’s guests and community, we reimagined the way the lobby can be experienced and enjoyed throughout the day,” said Siobhan Barry, Design Director at Gensler. “The interior reflects Morristown’s revolutionary ties to a modern colonial aesthetic.”

The hotel also provides guests with complimentary access to nearby Crunch Fitness, also located inside the headquarters plaza.

There are currently over 220 Hyatt Regency properties in over 30 countries around the world.
