UTICA – Mohawk Valley Community College will host a series of information sessions for its evening business degree programs, designed to help students earn an associate degree in just over two years while balancing career, family and other responsibilities.
MVCC’s Business Evening Degree programs, offered both online and on campus, use a cohort learning model, a collaborative style of learning in which students with common goals progress their education together, according to responsible.
The format is designed to be accessible and flexible: Students focus on one class at a time every five weeks and attend classes one evening a week, completing additional work online, college officials said.
Classes are offered on a set Wednesday evening schedule throughout the program.
On-campus and virtual information sessions will provide an overview of MVCC’s business evening degree programs, including admission requirements, career and transfer opportunities, support services, and how to pay college studies.
